Are there really still Christians in this world of ours who start the new year without paying cognizance to the prophecies of the new year from great Preachers or pastors from across the world?
If there are still Christians of such on earth, in this 2025, (no offence intended) then they must actually be living under the rock.
On a serious note, no Christian should start a new year on a prophecy-blank note. In other words, every Christian should anchor the new year on the prophecies of great men of God from across the world.
Of course, the advantages of following up new year prophecies from great preachers or pastors from across the word cannot be overemphasized.
Doing so has benefited a lot of lives, times without count. As an instance, lots of people who followed the prophecies of some great men of God who prophesied the victory of Donald Trump smiled all through the month of November and the first week of December, last year.
Almost everyone knew that a second term win for Donald Trump would skyrocket the U.S stocks and increase the price of Bitcoin, which is the largest cryptocurrency in the world.
Of course, that was quite easy to predict due to the entrepreneurial status of Trump and his close associate, Elon Musk (the current richest man in the world), who bought $1.5 billion worth of cryptocurrency in 2021 when everyone around seemed to have lost faith in the digital currency.
As expected, 5 days after Donald Trump won the 2024 election, Bitcoin, cryptocurrency, price began to soar to an all-time high above $100,000 U.S dollars, for the first time ever. In fact, the U.S stock exchange, too, increase with about 1,500 points.
All those specific details I highlighted won't mean a thing to you if you are not an investor. But if you are, the amount of profits you would have earned within 4 weeks after that election would be nothing short of miracle from an open heaven, so to write.
To add to that, considering what happened in 2019 in Ghana, prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi prophesied that Ghanaian Cedi would stabilize strongly against Dollar.
Of course, you wouldn't have ignored this prophecy if you knew who Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi was.

More so, if you were someone like me who purchases dollar bill as an asset, and you happened to be in Ghana as at December, 2018, you would have sold off all your dollar bill at the beginning of the new year, 2019, so as not to lose against the dollar when the Man Of God prophecy eventually came to pass.
Just as predicted, the Ghanaian Cedi began to stabilize itself till it grew to a 100% year-to-year increase from what it was in the previous year.
In fact, the increase surprised every business and investor-minded person in Ghana, as such increase was not expected in such a year.
To buttress this point, in 2016, during the first election that ushered in the tenure of President Trump, Apostle Johnson Suleman prophesied—against all odds— that Donald would win the election.
This was an election against a family with a serious political track record in America... that's the family by the name Clinton.
Those who listened and followed Apostle Johnson Suleman on that prophecy profited immensely from their different endeavors.

Before you start scrolling down in a haste to read the 2025 new year's prophecies given by various preachers or pastors from across the world, let me remind you what happened in 2014.
Can you remember what changed the business landscape and ways of living our lives in 2014?
Let me help you if you can't remember it in time...
It was Ebola outbreak.
In retrospect, as everyone kept jubilating and basking in the joy of seeing a new year, those of us who never joke new year prophecies kept on waiting to hear from different men of God so that we could get an idea of what the new year would be like.
During the waiting period, late Prophet T.B Joshua prophesied a disease outbreak that would greatly impact the whole of West Africa.

While some of us believed it, several others ignored the prophecy and moved on without factoring this prediction into their plan for the new year.
Then the result of the outbreak with the consequences that came afterward left the unbelievers in awe throughout the whole year.
Accurate And Failed Prophecies For A New Year
From what you've read above, you might feel it is high time you joined those of us who can't do without taking cognizance of this mighty act of God.
Before you join us, let me drop a note of warning here that not all prophecies come to pass.
Over the years, we've seen prophecies that failed to come to pass even though the prophecies came from the mouths of great men of God.
And don't be too quick to tag any great man of God a fake prophet for speaking forth a failed prophecy.
Permit me to show you why prophecies from any great man of God can fail.

Let's go to...
Deuteronomy 18:21
And if you say in your heart, ‘How shall we know the word which the Lord has not spoken?’—
Deuteronomy 18:22
when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken; THE PROPHET HAS SPOKEN IT PRESUMPTUOUSLY; you shall not be afraid of him.
Going through the first verse quoted above will make you understand what Moses had in mind before speaking forth those words.
As a great prophet of God who sat side-by-side with the Almighty God, he knew we would experience this dilemma of hearing prophecies that would fail to come to pass even though they are from the mouths of the prophets we know are truly called by God.
For this reason I want you to pay attention here...
After that verse, I quoted the next verse, verse 22 of the same Deuteronomy 18...
There Moses said if such happens, it means the "PROPHET" spoke it presumptuously.
Can you see that I underlined and quoted the word prophet above?
I did that on purpose so that you can see that Moses did not say such prophet is no longer a prophet of God for speaking forth a failed prophecy.
Going further, the word presumptuous in that verse as it's transliterated from the Hebrew Bible means being too forward.
To understand this better, take a look at Deuteronomy 18:20 below...
But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in My name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die.’
Can you see the underlined phrase?
...which I've not commanded him to speak...
Now, combine that phrase with the meaning of the word presumptuous...
Immediately you combine the two, you will begin to understand that ahe prophet, who is of God, can actually see a prophecy as it is revealed to him, but God may not give instruction to speak it forth... DON'T FORGET PROPHETS ARE MOUTHPIECES OF GOD.
In other words, whatever the prophet sees must remain in his heart or mind until he is being told to speak because when he opens his mouth it is more or less God who is speaking it forth.
So...
The moment God gives them the go-ahead to speak out what is revealed to them, and they speak it forth, then it will surely come to pass.
This is why prophets must learn how to keep shut when they see anything with their spiritual eyes. And of course, if you are the type that can't keep secret, you will hardly function in this office because you will, almost, always have issues with God.
Onward...
Once you confirm a prophet is of God, and he speaks forth a prophecy that fails to come to pass, it means he sees RIGHT but not given the go-ahead to speak it forth.
Of course, what the prophet sees might just be the EXACT thing that is about to happen which God intend to change... but not waiting on God will make the prophet to jump ahead of God in revealing what he wants to change before it happens.
So, by the time the prophet reveals what he sees (as the spiritual world is ahead of our physical world), the opposite intention of God will then be carried out, which will surprise him and everyone who listened to him.
To the prophet, he knew he saw what he said.
He would just be surprised to see the opposite happening.
All that... is because he went ahead of God. If he had waited on him, God would have revealed to him that what he saw was what the Devil planned. But he has changed the plan of the devil to something good or vice versa.
Failed Prophecies For A New Year
Hmmnnn...
A perfect instance took place in 2020. Almost all the prophets in Nigeria prophesied good things for the new year 2020.
Hope you remember what happened in the year 2020?
Covid-19.
Moving on...
Till date, almost everyone still remember the traumatic effect of that pandemic, as it was accompanied by financial hardships, intense hunger, untimely death, just to mention a few.
Without gainsaying, 2020 was terribly bad.
Okay, as you are still reminiscing on that unforgettable year 2020, take a look at what these prominent Men Of God prophesied for that new year, 2020 below...
1. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome prophesied 2020 as year of PERFECTION, whereas what we saw was PANDEMIC.

2. Pastor Williams Kumuyi prophesied 2020 as the BEST YEAR we would ever lived in Nigeria... unfortunately, it was the WORST YEAR for almost everyone in Nigeria then.

6. Prophet T.B Joshua prophesied the end of the Covid-19 to be on March 27, 2020, but the pandemic went beyond April, 2021.
Now...
I challenge you to go over those names again, if you do, you will see that these great Men Of God are often the ones giving us accurate prophecies.
Mind you, those 2020 prophecies all failed, and they are not the only failed prophecies from these great men of God. Of course, we still have more.
Don't forget what I said about failed prophecies...speaking presumptuously according to Deuteronomy 18:22 and not waiting for a go-ahead to speak forth what they see.
So, don't be mistaken, the failed prophecies do not denounce the prophetic call of God upon their lives according to the book of Deuteronomy I showed you earlier. THEY ARE STILL REAL MEN OF GOD.

4. Pastor Enoch Adeboye prophesied acceleration of progress for individuals in the new year 2025.
