What Most Preachers Don't Tell Us About The Holy Spirit

Having knew the thought of the Pharisees, Jesus seized the opportunity to give extra caution to them, and of course to us all, not to think the Spirit of God was like him.  The statement Jesus made on that day brought us to a realization that Holy Spirit is quite different — in fact, "far far" different — from God the Father and God the Son. If you really know God the Father and God the Son quite well, and you relate to Holy Spirit the same way you relate to them, in no time, you will realize you've beaten more than you can chew. From this expository and thought-provoking post, you will learn a lot of things that most Bible preachers don't tell us — or forget to tell us — about the 3rd triune God, Holy Spirit. First, let me show you something fascinating in the Bible. Judges 9:7-15 7 Now when they told Jotham, he went and stood on top of Mount Gerizim, and lifted his voice and cried out. And he said to them: “Listen to me, you men of Shechem, That God may listen to yo...

3 Remarkable People Who Helped Jesus Financially During His Earthly Ministry

In life, there is always a need for the relentless service of helpers. Even one’s destiny needs people who will make it come to fruition. Without anyone to help one either financially or other aspects of life, anything one does will take time to fly. The Son of God, Jesus, who could ask the father for a legion of angels had people to help him during his earthly ministry. The people who supported financially did so to such an extent that Jesus had to make one of the disciples his treasurer — that was Judas Iscariot in John 13:29 kjv...

"For some thought, because Judas had the money box, that Jesus had said to him, “Buy those things we need for the feast,” or that he should give something to the poor."

No wonder many were astonished as to why Jesus had a treasurer without working. That was made possible as a result of the women who stood by him. Other people supported him. However, only these three women were known to have done the good act in a remarkable way.

The first person among them was Mary Magdalene. The Bible made it clear in Luke 8:2 kjv ( and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities—Mary called Magdalene, out of whom had come seven Demons) that Mary Magdalene once had seven demons in her. She was free from this devilish agent when the Son of God came to her aid. Knowing fully well the havoc a single Demon can wreck on an individual will make us imagine the level at which the woman must have suffered from seven demons. No wonder she could not leave the savior after the healing. She was always with Jesus and the 12 apostles.

The rate at which she traveled with them made the Christian populace to figure out she never had a child or husband. She left her city Magdala in Galilee to Jerusalem… thereafter she continued with Jesus till he was crucified (John 19:25, now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother, and His mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.)

Even after he died, she was still following Jesus; as it was recorded that she was one of the people who went to inform the disciples about the resurrection of their master in Luke 24:9-10 KJV...

"Then they returned from the tomb and told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest. It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them, who told these things to the apostles."

She did support Jesus so much that often, in the Bible, her name was always the first name to be mentioned whenever women’s names were mentioned in the Bible.

In Luke 8:3 Nkjv (and Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others who provided for Him from their substance.), the Bible confirmed she sponsored the savior financially.

Secondly, another prominent woman who helped Jesus financially was Joanna. This was the wife of Chuza — the servant of Herod Antipas, the son of Herod the Great. She was, undoubtedly, rich and famous as she was very close to a wealthy family, at that time. The book of Luke 8:3 confirmed she spent her resources on the Son of God. As if the resources she spent were not enough, she stood by him till death and after death. She was even one of the women who witness his resurrection in Luke 24:9-10 KJV.

The last woman was Susanna. Although the Bible didn’t say much about her. Undoubtedly, too, she must have been from a rich background for her to be named among women like Mary Magdalene and Joanna.

In conclusion, your money alone is not enough in propagating the gospel of Christ; your time and effort are also needed if you want to leave an indelible mark in Heaven and on Earth.

You will not lose your reward as you work for God in Jesus name.
