Just as God is a Triune, so we human beings, created in his image, are '3-in-1.' We are spirits — with souls — in human body. Not knowing this founded truth has denied a lot of people their supernatural capabilities.
We can do more than we, all, can envisage. Spirits, of course, are not limited by any natural force. Our physical eyes are not as powerful as the spiritual eyes. However, most people have closed up the spiritual eyes due to disuse. We are capable of seeing into the future without the assistance of any devilish spirit. In fact, we are given a better position in heaven, as human, than the angels.
After the downfall of the Satan, he dominated the earth with millions of its demonic spirit. These Demons are known for different functions and activities. They have the ability to possess the human body without the permission of the person. That is why so many human beings are being used to carry out obnoxious acts on earth. When the demons possess man or woman, they seize the opportunity of the available body to perpetuate evil act without the knowledge of the person.
One of the Spirits that take over the body of mad people is known as the spirit of divination. This demon can accurately predict the future without making mistake.
"Now it happened, as we went to prayer, that a certain slave girl possessed with a spirit of divination met us, who brought her masters much profit by fortune-telling.
This girl followed Paul and us, and cried out, saying, 'These men are the servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to us the way of salvation.'
And this she did for many days. But Paul, greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, 'I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.' And he came out that very hour.
But when her masters saw that their hope of profit was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace to the authorities."
Acts 16:16-19 Nkjv.
Do not be mistaken, it is not all mad people that have this spirit in them. There are over seven demonic spirits that take advantage of insane people. Whenever it possesses the body of an insane person, it seizes the avenue to deceive people who are addicted to gambling.
Although the gamblers make money through the accurate predictions of mad men or women, they would give the unimaginable thing in return for the money they made from the obnoxious act. The devil doesn’t give without taking back. If he gives one cap, he will definitely take the head of the person in return. Jesus had known this devil tactic before he was tempted of getting the kingdoms of the earth as it was under the power and jurisdiction of the tempter.
“Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.
And he said to Him, ‘All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.’”
Matthew 4:8-9 Nkjv.
God, from the time he delivered the children of Israel, made it known his stand on divination — seeing into the future through devilish devices or means — in the book of Leviticus 19:26…
“‘You shall not eat anything with the blood, nor shall you practice divination or soothsaying.’”
Consequently, it is a sin to check what will happen in future through any means that is not biblical. The consequences far outweigh the benefits. Never succumb to the deceiving tactic of the devil.
