What Most Preachers Don't Tell Us About The Holy Spirit

Having knew the thought of the Pharisees, Jesus seized the opportunity to give extra caution to them, and of course to us all, not to think the Spirit of God was like him.  The statement Jesus made on that day brought us to a realization that Holy Spirit is quite different — in fact, "far far" different — from God the Father and God the Son. If you really know God the Father and God the Son quite well, and you relate to Holy Spirit the same way you relate to them, in no time, you will realize you've beaten more than you can chew. From this expository and thought-provoking post, you will learn a lot of things that most Bible preachers don't tell us — or forget to tell us — about the 3rd triune God, Holy Spirit. First, let me show you something fascinating in the Bible. Judges 9:7-15 7 Now when they told Jotham, he went and stood on top of Mount Gerizim, and lifted his voice and cried out. And he said to them: “Listen to me, you men of Shechem, That God may listen to yo...

Who Told You It Is Not Possible To Give Birth At Old Age? Check Out 2 Couples Who Broke This Record

At forty, women begins to experience menopause. That’s why women are advised to marry on time so as to give birth to the number of their desired children.

Sometimes, people who married at an early age wouldn't be able to reproduce while those who married late would have babies on time and vice versa.

In other words, no one can determine when he or she will give birth. Only God determines the time conception takes place in a woman.

To give birth before menopause takes little to no effort, however, after menopause it takes the intervention of the Almighty.

In fact, he has showed forth his wondrous works by making women who have long passed child-bearing to give birth.

Medical workers marvel when they see women of 90-100 years pregnant. Of course, no medical procedure can explain what makes it possible. Only God knows how he carries out this unimaginable procedure on old women.

In the Bible, two women were privileged to nurse babies at old age:

1. Sarah

2. Elisabeth

The husband of the first woman, as popularly known and recorded in Genesis 21:5, was 100 years old when she gave birth to Isaac.

When God told Abraham he would have a child at old age, Sarah did not believe; she laughed it off.

“Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, ‘After I have grown old, shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?’” Genesis 18:12

To man, it is impossible. However, with God, all things are possible.

"And Zacharias said to the angel, 'How shall I know this? For I am an old man, and my wife is well advanced in years.'” Luke 1:18

"Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren." Luke 1:36

The Bible Verse above confirmed Zecharias and Elisabeth were old when angel Gabriel told them about the conception of their son: John, The Baptist.

No one would believe such story after menopause. Some may be lucky to give birth after menopause. But at old age (above 80 years old), it is unreasonable to give couple the hope of child bearing. Of course, that will be tantamount to deceit.

To the glory of God, Zecharias and Elisabeth nursed baby John at old age through the power and intervention of God which required no faith on their path.

Believe you me, God can do it for you, if you are barren, as he did it for Sarah and Elisabeth. In fact, your faith may not be required.

There is nothing God cannot do. Do not give up on him.
