What Most Preachers Don't Tell Us About The Holy Spirit

Having knew the thought of the Pharisees, Jesus seized the opportunity to give extra caution to them, and of course to us all, not to think the Spirit of God was like him.  The statement Jesus made on that day brought us to a realization that Holy Spirit is quite different — in fact, "far far" different — from God the Father and God the Son. If you really know God the Father and God the Son quite well, and you relate to Holy Spirit the same way you relate to them, in no time, you will realize you've beaten more than you can chew. From this expository and thought-provoking post, you will learn a lot of things that most Bible preachers don't tell us — or forget to tell us — about the 3rd triune God, Holy Spirit. First, let me show you something fascinating in the Bible. Judges 9:7-15 7 Now when they told Jotham, he went and stood on top of Mount Gerizim, and lifted his voice and cried out. And he said to them: “Listen to me, you men of Shechem, That God may listen to yo...

The Man Who Died On His Kneels While He Was Praying In The Bible.

Everyone came into this world the same way, but we would return in different ways. Rachel died during hard labor, Nadab and Abihu were killed by fire from God, Dathan and Abiram were swallowed up by the ground, Elisha died due to severe illness, Jesus died by crucifixion, just to mention a few.

Anyone who thinks he knows better than God will be shocked by the unimaginable way of the Ancient of days. He is full of surprises. One may think he or she will live to old age due to his or her strength and die at a tender age. Of course, God doesn’t think the way we think. His thinking faculty is beyond human comprehension. With all the labor of Moses, he never entered the promise land. He was the closest prophet to God in the history of the world. No one has matched his record. God talked with him, not in dark speeches, face-to-face. The mountain no man was allowed to come near, God allowed him to climb it so as to come up to him. His closeness with the Almighty God is still unprecedented and amusing. Some of us would have felt, after reading his story in Exodus, that he would leave the surface of the earth in the same manner Enoch and Elijah did. On the contrary, God surprised us, again, by taking him away through a surprising death — he was old, yet his strength was not abated — and burying him by himself.

And He buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, opposite Beth Peor; but no one knows his grave to this day.

Deuteronomy 34:6 Nkjv

Some people will boast of their departure that it will never be like the scary ones we’ve heard or seen. Such people need to be reminded of how Jesus (remember he was God in human flesh) and James died in the Bible. Judas, was privileged to be among the twelve disciples of Jesus, died in a manner that was unbelievable. He never believed he would be the betrayal. Being the treasurer of Jesus and having received the authority and power to do great things, he wouldn’t have thought of such a devastating end.

What makes anyone different or special? That is why everyone should always commit himself or herself into the hands of God. Most importantly, everyone should commit his or her spirit into the hands of God, during departure, as Jesus did.

Without much ado, as you’ve known special people in the Bible died in unbelievable way. You need to about a man who was the first to be appointed among the deacons in the Bible. Although he was full of faith and spirit of God, he died on his kneels while praying for the people who killed him.

"Then he knelt down and cried out with a loud voice, 'Lord, do not charge them with this sin.' And when he had said this, he fell asleep."

Acts 7:60 Nkjv.

That was Stephen. I pray you won’t die untimely in Jesus name.

Lastly, ensure you live right so that when you are about to leave this earth, you will end up in heaven irrespective of how you leave. In other words, the way you go is not as important as where you are going: heaven or hell.

You will make it to heaven in Jesus name.

Amen.
