What Most Preachers Don't Tell Us About The Holy Spirit

Having knew the thought of the Pharisees, Jesus seized the opportunity to give extra caution to them, and of course to us all, not to think the Spirit of God was like him.  The statement Jesus made on that day brought us to a realization that Holy Spirit is quite different — in fact, "far far" different — from God the Father and God the Son. If you really know God the Father and God the Son quite well, and you relate to Holy Spirit the same way you relate to them, in no time, you will realize you've beaten more than you can chew. From this expository and thought-provoking post, you will learn a lot of things that most Bible preachers don't tell us — or forget to tell us — about the 3rd triune God, Holy Spirit. First, let me show you something fascinating in the Bible. Judges 9:7-15 7 Now when they told Jotham, he went and stood on top of Mount Gerizim, and lifted his voice and cried out. And he said to them: “Listen to me, you men of Shechem, That God may listen to yo...

Satan’s Attack Is Different From His Demon’s Attack. How To Know When Satan Himself Attack A Christian?

Satan and his demons

It is never an understatement to say the most predictable person on earth is Satan. His style of operating has never changed. In fact, from the time of Adam up till this moment, his system of operation remains the same.

When he was about to leave heaven, he went out with about one-third of the angels. That was too much to be taken for granted as no one knows the number of angels in heaven: They are uncountable.

His level of influence is so much that, after the war broke out in heaven because of him, the other holy angels wouldn’t have believed he could get the backing of such a number of angels.

As a result, the angels — now known as demons — that followed him to the earth learnt a lot from him.

Even though they’ve been with him for unimaginable number of years as they can’t die, none of them operates like him. They all operated differently from him, but their aims are the same: To steal, kill and destroy.

Wherever these demons are found, all they are after is simply to destroy just like their master. At any point in time these demons want to destroy anybody, all they look for is an opportunity to enter the person’s body. Being spirits, they can’t operate on the earth without possessing human bodies. So, they seek every means possible to gain entrance into the body of anyone they plan making their victim.

and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities—Mary called Magdalene, out of whom had come seven demons

Luke 8:2

This is one of the numerous instances in the Bible that confirmed Demons lived inside human body. Mary Magdalene had seven demons in her. Thank God she was opportune to meet Jesus Christ who casted the demons out of her.

There is no time in the Bible you will come across demons being mentioned in relation to Jesus and his disciples without seeing “casting out.”

And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

Mark 16:17

As you can see above, Jesus said in his name demons would be casted out. Of course, they will be no need for casting out if demons don’t reside inside the human body.

Now…

On the contrary, you can never see any part of the Bible talking of someone casting out Satan, I mean Lucifer himself, from someone’s body. This is because Satan operates differently from his demons, as I’ve rightly mentioned earlier.

He doesn’t need to enter his victim’s body before perpetuating his evil act, although he can decide to enter the body of his victim at his own discretion.  A perfect example of this instance is in the life of Judas Iscariot.

Then Satan entered Judas, surnamed Iscariot, who was numbered among the twelve.

Luke 22:3

Before Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus, Satan — Lucifer, himself — entered inside his body. That is quite unusual of him.

If his demons take over a body, it takes a great deal to cast them out. However, to cast out Satan if he takes over a body, it will take far more than a great deal. The only instance he entered the human body was just in the story of Judas, and unfortunately there was no account of him being casted out.

How then can on know when Satan (not his demons this time around) attack a Christian ?

And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

9 Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?

10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.

11 But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.

12 And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.

13 And there was a day when his sons and his daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house:

14 And there came a messenger unto Job, and said, The oxen were plowing, and the asses feeding beside them:

15 And the Sabeans fell upon them, and took them away; yea, they have slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

16 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

17 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The Chaldeans made out three bands, and fell upon the camels, and have carried them away, yea, and slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

18 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, Thy sons and thy daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house:

19 And, behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and smote the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young men, and they are dead; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

Job 1:8-19

Reading through the evil incident that befell Job, you will realize Satan was the one who perpetuated the evil act. He didn’t have to enter Job to destroy him. He wreck all the havoc without taking control of his body.

Take note of the way he operated here. Job's 500 Oxen all died in one day. Thereafter, all his 7,000 sheep died as a result of a fire that fell from heaven. After that, 3,000 camels were taken by compulsion by the Chaldeans, as if all these were not enough…Satan mightily moved a wind that collapsed the house of the first born of Job where all his 10 children were dinning. Unfortunately, they all died on the same day. All those evil acts took place one after another.

If you are seriously paying attention, you will have discovered the way Satan operates. No demon can work out such a devastating destruction in such a manner. Don’t misquote me, I did not say demons can’t destroy a man's possession or properties. They can, but they can’t destroy it in such a fashion.

Let me explain better. At any point in time that Satan wants to destroy someone, HE WILL DESTROY THE PERSON OR HIS THINGS ONE AFTER ANOTHER TILL HE COMPLETELY FINISH UP THE PERSON except God intervenes. Being the master of destruction, he doesn’t allow any of his demon to work like that.

Another instance is in the life of Adam and Judas Iscariot. Study the two of them, and you will see how he wrecked one havoc to another in their life till he completely finished them.

So, whenever you see a Christian having one problem after another, my brother and my sister, it means the devil himself is involve in the affair of the person. Such a person should be advised to seek the help of powerful man of God who will deliver him or her with the help of other powerful and experience deliverance ministers.

You might have heard Satan doesn’t have any power. Please and please, don’t ever underestimate the power of the devil. He possesses power more than any human being can envisage. He is not human; he is a spirit who lived uncountable years in heaven — before the throne of God — before he was casted out of Heaven to the earth where he has been living for thousands of years falling high and mighty people successfully like the likes of Adam (first being on earth) to Solomon (the wisest man on earth) to Samson (the most powerful man in the Bible) to Judas Iscariot (the only treasurer of our Lord Jesus).

Mind you as powerful as he is, if you are not being tested by God, he can never overcome you as a child of God because he that is in you is greater than he that is in the world…HALLELUJAH.
