Shocking Fact About The Spirits Of The Dead & Other Spirits In The Heavenly Places
It is heretical and Unbiblical to say dead spirits or heavenly spirits don’t eat.
In no time, you will realize while reading this piece that Spirits, indeed, eat food.
When the children of Israel left Elim, they arrived at the Wilderness of Sin where they demanded for food. From their complaint, one can easily decipher that they were fed nicely in Egypt even though they were in serious bondage.
Astonishedly, the children of Israel preferred to be in bondage in which they would be flogged in servitude, due to the luxury of the Egyptian meal, than to be hungry in a freed state.
In Egypt, they ate fish… cucumbers… melons… leeks… onions, and… garlic (Numbers 11:5).
But in the wilderness of Sin, there was nothing of such. As their complaint reached the ears of the Almighty God, he decided to feed them right from Heaven.
Considering their large number, there was no way they could have fed themselves in the wilderness.
Exodus 12:37… And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, ABOUT SIX HUNDRED THOUSAND ON FOOT THAT WERE MEN, BESIDE CHILDREN.
In other words, if 600,000 men were recorded to have come out of Egypt, it means a total of about 1.8 MILLION people were liberated out of Egypt, assuming each men had a wife and a child.
With such a large number, there was no way they could have gotten enough food items to prepare food for themselves.
This was why Moses doubted God when it was revealed to him that he would feed the children of Israel with meat everyday for a month…
21 And Moses said, The people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand footmen; and thou hast said, I will give them flesh, that they may eat a whole month.
22 Shall the flocks and the herds be slain for them, to suffice them? or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, to suffice them?
23 And the Lord said unto Moses, Is the Lord'S hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not.
Numbers 11:21-23
He had forgotten that while it was impossible for millions of people to be fed by anyone in the wilderness on a daily basis, God had been feeding them bread on a daily basis, satisfactorily, without stressing himself.
In fact, he fed them with Manna for 40 YEARS (Exodus 16:35) while they were thinking feeding them for a month was unrealistic.
Observably, the Manna they ate got it’s name from its appearance and taste (Exodus 16:31). God never revealed the name to them nor to Moses. He only said he would rain BREAD for them from Heaven.
Most people would have assumed God just commanded that bread to appear out of nothing, as he had the power to create things out of nothing; actually, God didn’t do such.
The Psalmist made a striking revelation in Psalm 78:22-25.
He said,
22 Because they believed not in God, and trusted not in his salvation:
23 Though he had commanded the clouds from above, and OPENED THE DOORS OF HEAVEN,
24 And had RAINED DOWN MANNA upon them to eat, and had given them of the corn of heaven.
25 Man did eat angels' food: he sent them meat to the full.
First, he stated the bread was rained down from heaven.
In fact, God had to command the door of Heaven to open for the bread to drop to the earth.
Second, and more astonishedly in the latter part of the aforementioned verses, the Psalmist revealed the bread was Angels' food.
Apparently, the food was not a never-before-seen meal prepared by God to just feed them; it’s what the Angels in Heaven feed on.
The reason some people still find it difficult to believe that Spirits of the dead or heavenly spirits eat is because they feel food is only for nourishment of the human body.
Therefore, they felt the need of eating food by Spirits who possess a bodiless form was not sensible.
Actually, in Heaven, foods are not taken for the same reason as the Earth’s. Over there, there is no such thing as hunger or thirst as stated in Revelation 7:16…
They shall NEITHER HUNGER ANYMORE NOR THIRST ANYMORE; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat;
Revelation 7:16
Just as the way we will be when we all get to Heaven is the way Angels, already, are. They can never feel the sensation of hunger or thirst.
However, they eat. In other words, they do not eat because they are hungry; they do for reasons other than for nourishment. Perhaps, for enjoyment, I presume based on the metaphorical story of Jotham in Judges 9.
PREPARATION OF MANNA
As this food was not made out of nothing, someone in heaven is responsible for its preparation.
As comical as it sounds, Angels are very good at cooking. Mind you, before you start thinking of earthly food. There are just two kinds of food in heaven.
1. The bread, referred to as Manna, mentioned earlier and
2. Fruits gotten from the two trees of life situated on the street leading to the throne of God where water body as clear as crystal passes (Revelation 22:1-2...
And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and ON EITHER SIDE OF THE RIVER, was there the TREE OF LIFE, which BARE TWELVE MANNER OF FRUITS, and YIELDED her fruit EVERY MONTH: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations).
Besides these two aforementioned food, no other food is recorded to be available in heaven.
This is no surprise as God did the same thing when he made man in his own image. Of course, his plan was to make Man live forever. With such a plan, the only food God made available for man was FRUITS ALONE.
You won’t see any other food in the garden of Eden except all the fruits which were from the trees of the Garden.
Eating only plant-related food, man lived up to NINE HUNDRED AND SIXTY NINE YEARS (969…Genesis 5:27).
Thereafter, man lost the ability to live forever as a result of sin, consequently, he was given the free-will to eat whatever he wanted as it was no longer necessary to live forever.
After the flood, God then told Noah that he could now eat meat…
Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. I have given you all things, even as the green herbs.
Genesis 9:3
More so, the Almighty God set a permanent lifespan (as man could no longer live forever) which was 70 years…
The days of our lives are SEVENTY YEARS; And if by REASON OF STRENGTH they are EIGHTY YEARS, Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow; For it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
Psalm 90:10
As you’ve rightly figured out, only human beings can now eat all sorts of food; Angels can not do such.
Intuitively, if Angels can cook, you will understand the kind of food being referred will be no other food than bread.
Let me show exactly how Angels bake this special bread.
Before then, take note, that just as earthly bread flour is made from wheat and other starchy food, so does the heavenly bread come from corn. That was why the Psalmist referred to Manna as Corn of Heaven…
And had rained down manna upon them to eat, and had given them of the CORN OF HEAVEN.
Psalm 78:24
Onward to the time an Angel baked bread…
Thousand of years ago, Prophet Elijah ran away from Jezebel who was after his life. As he got to a wilderness after a days journey from Beersheba where he left the servant he had before Gehazi, he had to rest before he would embark on another journey to Horeb which would take 40 days, what an exhaustive journey that would be.
On getting to the wilderness, he was tired and depressed, and he slept off under a Juniper tree.
As God was aware of the journey ahead of him, he sent an Angel to feed him. Mind you, the spiritual being didn’t come with food from heaven. The Angel prepared the food he gave him right there in the wilderness.
The act of the Angel would have surprised Elijah, himself. As the spiritual being woke him up, he looked…
…and there by his head was a cake baked on coals, and a jar of water. So he ate and drank, and lay down again.
1 Kings 19:6
Meaning, the Angel got coal and flour, made fire and baked a bread on the coal fire.
Without gainsaying, Angels in heaven must be using a similar fashion to bake bread as there is fire and coal in Heaven, as noticed in the vision of Isaiah, precisely in chapter 6 of his book.
As recorded also in that 1 Kings 19, Elijah was strengthened, to run without being wearied for 40 days, by the strength of that bread he ate twice in the wilderness.
This implies small quantity of bread prepared by Angels is enough to satisfy the hunger of man up to 40 days long.
A similar thing was experienced by the children of Israel in the wilderness when some gathered little and some gathered more. The people who gathered little were satisfied with their little quantity.
But when they measured it out, everyone had just enough. Those who gathered a lot had nothing left over, and THOSE WHO GATHERED ONLY A LITTLE HAD ENOUGH. Each family had just what it needed.
Exodus 16:18
But as those generation were filled with unbelief, they gathered more than they needed till it bred worm. Even if they were to have taken it once in a month, their hunger would have been satisfied as seen in the life of Elijah who ate the same bread twice for a 40 days journey.
NO ONE CAN SATISFY A MAN WITHOUT FAITH, NOT EVEN THE ANGELS IN HEAVEN.
THE TRANSMUTED BODY OF ANGELS
Due to their scary, gigantic angelic form, Angels on errand transmute to human form in order to deliver God’s message to human beings.
Most often when they take on this transmuted body, they are not easily recognize except they put on white, dazzling cloth.
In fact, people in the Bible mistook them for strangers when they come visiting. However, those who are hospitable among them have entertained them unaware and received unexpected blessings from God.
Now, whenever an Angel takes on a transmuted body, he automatically becomes 100 percent man (this will be proven with Biblical references later in my other post).
Their transmutable bodies do not in any way affect their angelic form. To reiterate, when they are transmuted, they become 100 percent man; likewise, when they are in their angelic form, they are 100 percent spirit. In other words, both forms have no connection whatsoever.
This is why they can eat ANYTHING given to them when they are transmuted to human form. Anything in the sense that the food that they dare not eat in their angelic form is taken by them in their transmuted form.
In the days of Father Abraham, three angels came into him.
As they approached, he went into them and urged them to stay back for refreshment.
And I will bring a MORSEL OF BREAD, that you may refresh your hearts. After that you may pass by, inasmuch as you have come to your servant.” They said, “Do as you have said...”
So he took BUTTER and MILK and THE CALF which he had prepared, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree as they ate.
Genesis 18:5,8
As seen above, those Angels, in human form, ate four things which a typical Angel in his Angelic form can NEVER EVER eat. They ate:
1. Bread
2. Meat
3. Butter... and drank
4. Milk.
Thereby, confirming Angels are 100 percent man when they take on their transmuted bodies.
JESUS DRINKING WINE IN THE FATHER'S KINGDOM
27 Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you.
28 For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
29 But I say to you, I WILL NOT DRINK of this fruit of the vine from now on UNTIL that day WHEN I DRINK IT NEW with you IN MY FATHER’S KINGDOM.”
Matthew 26:27-29
Of course, this is not confusing. More so, this reminds me of the two tree of life situated in Heaven. The Bible says these trees bear 12 different kinds of fruit each on a monthly basis. There won't be issue of nonavailability of fruits on them as they are situated beside the river that flows directly from the throne of God.
1. And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
Revelation 22:1-2
At one time in a Christian gathering, I asked for essence of fruits in a place where Spirits abode. The people present thought about the answer to my question for some minutes before they began to give me answers.
I'm quite sure some of them must have disagreed totally with me if I had outrightly told them heavenly spirits or dead spirits could eat.
After all, we all will be present in heaven in our spirit form. So, the fruits for those trees will definitely be meant for us all to enjoy. If heaven itself was not beautiful enough, we could perhaps have thought the trees were for decoration. Thank God they bore fruits to banish thoughts like that.
In addition, Jesus revealed to his disciples during the last supper while drinking wine with them that he would not drink wine with them again until they meet in the Father's kingdom.
That indeed confirmed spirits of the dead ability to drink. Isn't it?
SURE, IT IS.
