BEWARE, There Are Lots Of Hidden Things In This World
The Hidden Things Of The World.
There are lots of things that are hidden from our naked eyes, which is otherwise known as our physical eyes. Unimaginable number of things exist around us that we know nothing of. In fact, if our Spiritual eyes are open for more than necessary, it can affect us negatively, just as it can positively impact us.
When the king of Syria sent a great host to encamp the whole city where Elisha was, fear gripped the servant of the great Prophet. Several thoughts must have laced his mind. From his statement, he revealed how fearful he was. His inability to see what surrounded him brought about fear.
On the contrary, Elisha the prophet had no reason to entertain fear as he could see beyond his physical eyes.
The servant of Elisha would not have believed the existence of hidden things had it not experienced the real functioning of spiritual eyes.
Then the LORD opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the Angel of the LORD standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and he bower down hi head, and fell flat on his face.
And the Angel of the LORD said unto him, wherefore have you smitten your ass these three times? Behold, I went out to withstand you, because your way is perverse before me.
And the ass saw me, and turned from me these three times: unless she had turned from me, surely now also I had killed you, and saved her alive.
Numbers 22:31-33
THE HIDDEN SWORD
Balaam almost died from the hidden sword handled by the angel of God on his way to the city of Moab. Had the ass not prevented him, the angel of God would have cut him to death.
Just as the sword was hidden from Balaam, so do many harmful things are hidden from hindsight. The evil people of this world take advantage of man's inability to see with his/her spiritual eyes. They send out evil things that are hidden from the physical eyes. As a result, untold number of people have died untimely.
In fact, there are lots of people whose death can not be traced to anything medical.
You shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flies by day
Psalm 91:5
This part of the Bible confirmed there are arrows that fly during the day. Arrows, of course, can't fly of their own volition. Someone, somewhere must have shot a flying arrow.
The Holy Bible pluralized these arrows. In other words, there are hundreds of thousands of them flying in the sky. Hardly do arrows, especially the ones not seen with physical eyes, miss their target. The moment one of them hits its target, the victim dies, sometimes, almost immediately or later after some days or months.
Everyone would have been seeing these arrows if his or her spiritual eyes were opened. Unfortunately, many people do not know nor understand the gravity of being blind spiritually.
THE GLORY OF GOD
God takes glory in many things, even the mundane things in our life. From the food we eat to the clothes we wear. In fact, all we do in this life must bring glory to his name.
God doesn't and will never share his glory with anyone. No one dare crosses that boundary of sharing in his glory.
When he gave the 10 commandments, he outrightly started the commandment with "you shall have no other gods before me."
The reason for his jealousy is quite obvious in that commandment. He can't just tolerate someone sharing in his glory. Whatever you do to him must be done only to him alone.
If he says ten percent of your income belongs to him, do not even think of giving it to another person. God forbid! Even if a spirit being is equal to him, he is not qualify to share anything with him. No one, anywhere, is equal to him. Who then can share in his glory?
It is the Glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of Kings is to search out a matter.
Proverbs 25:2
King Solomon revealed one of the things God takes glory in and that is hidden things of this world.
There are lots of things God hides from man. He has personal reasons for concealing them. Due to the inquisitiveness of man, he tends not to understand that his maker finds pleasure in the hidden things of the world.
At his own will and disposition, he reveals any hidden thing to anyone. If you request a certain secret from him, he will reveal it to you as he revealed it to Daniel below…
And the king said unto them, I have dreamed a dream, and my spirit was troubled to know the dream.
4 Then spake the Chaldeans to the king in Syriack, O king, live for ever: tell thy servants the dream, and we will shew the interpretation.
5 The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The thing is gone from me: if ye will not make known unto me the dream, with the interpretation thereof, ye shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made a dunghill.
6 But if ye shew the dream, and the interpretation thereof, ye shall receive of me gifts and rewards and great honour: therefore shew me the dream, and the interpretation thereof.
7 They answered again and said, Let the king tell his servants the dream, and we will shew the interpretation of it.
8 The king answered and said, I know of certainty that ye would gain the time, because ye see the thing is gone from me.
9 But if ye will not make known unto me the dream, there is but one decree for you: for ye have prepared lying and corrupt words to speak before me, till the time be changed: therefore tell me the dream, and I shall know that ye can shew me the interpretation thereof.
10 The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the king's matter: therefore there is no king, lord, nor ruler, that asked such things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean.
11 And it is a rare thing that the king requireth, and there is none other that can shew it before the king, except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh.
12 For this cause the king was angry and very furious, and commanded to destroy all the wise men of Babylon.
13 And the decree went forth that the wise men should be slain; and they sought Daniel and his fellows to be slain.
14 Then Daniel answered with counsel and wisdom to Arioch the captain of the king's guard, which was gone forth to slay the wise men of Babylon:
15 He answered and said to Arioch the king's captain, Why is the decree so hasty from the king? Then Arioch made the thing known to Daniel.
16 Then Daniel went in, and desired of the king that he would give him time, and that he would shew the king the interpretation.
17 Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions:
18 That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.
19 Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven
Daniel 2:3-19
When Nebuchadnezzar forgot his dreadful dream, he realized none on the surface of the earth was capable of revealing hidden things except the Almighty God.
At first, he thought his wise men knew all things. No matter how wise someone is, he or she cannot reveal, by his or her wisdom, the hidden things of God.
Even Daniel who was counted as one of the wise men in the land of Babylon had to consult the Almighty God concerning the hidden dream of the king.
Not being privileged to know about the hidden things of this life makes us depend on him. If all men knew about all the secrets of this life, none of us would give the glory to God.
He is the only and true source of all things. More so, he is in the best position to reveal hidden things. The moment you consult another medium for a revelation, you already share his glory with another.
King Saul knew this particular character of our maker, yet he consulted a sorcerer who, deceitfully, brought up the dead spirit of Samuel.
His end was of course nothing to write home about. He perished with his children on the same day.
Likewise, the Almighty deals with people who share his glory with anyone and anything. That was why he ordered all men and women who consulted other medium, but his, to be killed.
Moving forward, when God created the earth, there was nothing like chairs, table, Television, phone, Aeroplane, just to mention a few of the popular things we enjoy. However, all of these products were inerrantly hidden out of sight from us.
Inside the trees were books, inside the ground were the Aluminum and other great elements we are accustomed to using.
Who would have seen Piano from a mere rubber without the revelation from above. All the great works of our time started from ideas, and all of them emanated from the maker of all things.
Whatever he decides never to reveal remain secret forever. That is why no one knows the exact day Jesus will come back to this world.
But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the Angels of Heaven, but My Father only.
Matthew 24:36
Surprisingly, Jesus himself cannot tell of the day as only God the Father knows about it. Perhaps, you are just hearing this for the first time. God the Father can do something and decide to keep it from the other triune God. Even though he is the same person, the three heads mysteriously manifest themselves as three different individuals whose identity and functions are quite different.
THE HEART OF MAN
As wise as Satan is, his wisdom cannot reveal the intentions of our human heart. In the same manner, no one can tell of what is going on in your mind except God or someone who is given the gift by him.
And the Scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, who is this which speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?
But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, what reason ye in your hearts?
Whether it is easier to say, Your sins be forgiven you; or to say, rise up and walk?
Luke 5:21-23
Jesus Christ on several occasions reveal the thoughts of peoples' hearts. He knows everything you are thinking of. Nothing can be hidden from him by you. Even from heaven, he knows all the activities going on in your life.
When Saul of Tarsus left to Damascus, Jesus knew about this movement even right before he communicated it to the High Priest. That was why he was able to double cross him at the close of entering Damascus.
For what man knows the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knows no man, but the Spirit of God.
1 Corinthians 2:11
This is the reason no man can vouch for another man. Even if you live with your spouse for more than thirty years, you can't be privy to the thought of his or her heart except his or her spirit.
Even though Judas spent years with the other 11 disciples of Jesus, no one suspected him of his plan to betray his master. Only Jesus knew when he started thinking about it; he even knew about it ever before the thought crossed his mind by the action of the Devil.
Countless number of people have been killed by the people they trust most. Uriah was killed by his boss. If he was told that David would do such to him, he wouldn't have believed.
With all the trust for his boss, his wife was impregnated by David and, as if that is not enough, he planned his death in an unsuspecting manner ever.
