What Most Preachers Don't Tell Us About The Holy Spirit

Having knew the thought of the Pharisees, Jesus seized the opportunity to give extra caution to them, and of course to us all, not to think the Spirit of God was like him.  The statement Jesus made on that day brought us to a realization that Holy Spirit is quite different — in fact, "far far" different — from God the Father and God the Son. If you really know God the Father and God the Son quite well, and you relate to Holy Spirit the same way you relate to them, in no time, you will realize you've beaten more than you can chew. From this expository and thought-provoking post, you will learn a lot of things that most Bible preachers don't tell us — or forget to tell us — about the 3rd triune God, Holy Spirit. First, let me show you something fascinating in the Bible. Judges 9:7-15 7 Now when they told Jotham, he went and stood on top of Mount Gerizim, and lifted his voice and cried out. And he said to them: “Listen to me, you men of Shechem, That God may listen to yo...

Two Biblical Ways of Healing Any Sick Person Using The 12 Apostle’s Method.

“And He called the twelve to Himself, and began to send them out two by two, and gave them power over unclean spirits.”

Mark 6:7

In the verse above, Jesus sent out his twelve disciples to preach so that sinners can repent and turn to God. When they were about to leave for the mission, he gave them power over devilish spirit. Then, he instructed them to preach and cast out Demons.

He never told them to heal the sick. However, they did because they met sick people on their journey.

The method they employed when they healed the sick is worth studying as they got spectacular result from it. The method was simply to anoint the sick and pray for them.

"And they went out, and preached that men should repent. And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them."

Mark 6:12-13

According to the Bible verse above, Mark testified to the report that the early apostles anointed the sick and heal them.

So, the two Biblical methods are simply to anoint the sick and pray for the healing of him or her while you lay your hand on the person. Mind you, only prayer made out of faith can bring about a speedy healing.

Apostle Paul learnt this method from the early apostle. When Paul wanted to heal the father of Publius in Acts 28:8 — , he laid his hand on him and prayed for his healing.

Also, James, the brother of Jesus who wrote the book of James, highlighted the same practice — in James 5:14…“Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.” — of anointing a sick person and, thereafter, praying for him or her.

In addition, he said if the prayer is made in faith, it will heal the sick, who became ill as a result of sin.

Mind you, if there is nobody, around, who can make a prayer of faith, an elder in the church should be consulted as rightly stated by James, the brother of Jesus.

Elders in the church, due to their years in the church, can pray effectively without entertaining any form of doubt.

Without faith, it is impossible to please God; also, without faith, it is impossible to heal the sick, no matter the amount of anointing oil one pours on him or her.
