What Most Preachers Don't Tell Us About The Holy Spirit

Having knew the thought of the Pharisees, Jesus seized the opportunity to give extra caution to them, and of course to us all, not to think the Spirit of God was like him.  The statement Jesus made on that day brought us to a realization that Holy Spirit is quite different — in fact, "far far" different — from God the Father and God the Son. If you really know God the Father and God the Son quite well, and you relate to Holy Spirit the same way you relate to them, in no time, you will realize you've beaten more than you can chew. From this expository and thought-provoking post, you will learn a lot of things that most Bible preachers don't tell us — or forget to tell us — about the 3rd triune God, Holy Spirit. First, let me show you something fascinating in the Bible. Judges 9:7-15 7 Now when they told Jotham, he went and stood on top of Mount Gerizim, and lifted his voice and cried out. And he said to them: “Listen to me, you men of Shechem, That God may listen to yo

Check Out 5 Times Israel Won Battles Against Powerful Nations In The Bible.

The people of God are simply the apple of God’s eyes. He doesn’t joke with any affairs of his children. As long as they don’t disobey him, all their battles will be nothing but a walkover.

Only sin caused the downfall of this great nation in the Bible. Just as sin can adversely affect the life of an individual, so it wrecks havoc on a nation at large.

Christian folks believe Isreal can not be defeated due to the numerous promises of God for this nation.

They’ve fought nations that could crush them in no time. However, anyone on the Lord’s side is invincible. Check the powerful nations Israel defeated in the Bible below:

1. They won the battle against three powerful nations in one day.

"And David and his men went up and raided the Geshurites, the Girzites,[a] and the Amalekites. For those nations were the inhabitants of the land from of old, as you go to Shur, even as far as the land of Egypt.

Whenever David attacked the land, he left neither man nor woman alive, but took away the sheep, the oxen, the donkeys, the camels, and the apparel, and returned and came to Achish."

1 Samuel 27:8-9 Nkjv

David, with his warriors, singlehandedly conquered three powerful nations in one day. The Bible confirmed he killed all the inhabitants of the lands, and he went with all the animals in the three nations.

2. They won the battle against Philistines when Goliath led their army.

"Now the men of Israel and Judah arose and shouted, and pursued the Philistines as far as the entrance of the valley[a] and to the gates of Ekron. And the wounded of the Philistines fell along the road to Shaaraim, even as far as Gath and Ekron."

1 Samuel 17:52 Nkjv

Israel almost gave up on their fight against the Philistines due to the giant leader. Fortunately for Israel, David, a young boy with unbelievable experience in killing wild animals, was present to accept the challenge against Goliath with the name of God.

As we all know this amazing story, Israelites ended up having the head of the great giant that the whole army of Israel could not fight.

3. They finished the whole of Amalek.

"He also took Agag king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword."

1 Samuel 15:8 Nkjv

Saul was the king who led the battle front in the fight against a nation whose king is well-respected in terms of warfare. Saul, with the Help of God, defeated the nation and captured their great king.

God was in support of attacking this nation because they refused to allow the children of Israel pass their territory on their way to the promise land.

4. The battle against Canaan was a success.

"Then Judah went up, and the Lord delivered the Canaanites and the Perizzites into their hand; and they killed ten thousand men at Bezek."

Judges 1:4 Nkjv

God helped his children again to overcome over 10,000 army of Cannan. It was a huge success as they recorded defeating the Perizzites on the same day.

5. The battle against Jericho can never be forgotten as the great wall of Jericho fell down flat.

"And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, ox and sheep and donkey, with the edge of the sword."

Joshua 6:21 Nkjv

The battle against Jericho was success due to the master plan given to Joshua by God. The inhabitants refused to come out. They encamped behind the great wall no man could jump over.

Eventually, the master plan of God fell down the wall and the children of Israel brought down the nation to naught.

No one desire war. Let’s embrace peace.

Shalom!
